Prior to the match, senior Urban said, “I have been truly impressed by how we have become a family away from home. Although we may not have the record we had hoped for, every girl on the team has always given 110 percent and as long as we continue to do so I could not be more proud of them.”

In the final match of the season, the Warriors took on Luther College and ended the season on a positive note by earning the 7-2 win. The Warrior win came from two doubles victories and five singles wins.

All the Warrior wins were won in straight sets. The doubles team of Urban and Potter playing in the number one spot won 8-2. Both Urban and Potter each won multiple matches to go with their doubles win, with Urban winning 6-3, 6-2 at the number two singles spot and Potter earning a 6-4, 6-2 win in her match.
