Dear Winonan,
On Saturday night as I sat on my front porch to play a board game with my wife, a young woman approached us to ask if we had seen someone run off with our children’s swing set. We looked and realized that it was, in fact, gone.
She informed us that she had spotted a group of revelers carrying it down the road. She and her friends had run to stop the bandits, just as an approaching police car had forced the thieves to abandon it. Upon learning that it was our swing set, she and her friends carried it back to our home.
We were happy to learn that the five women (Anna, Anna, Hannah, Maddy, and Becky) are WSU students! We’re lucky to have such great neighbors. And my boys are happy to have their swing set! Go Warriors!
