Graduating editors: a final goodbye

Lauren Saner – Copy Editor

I am so grateful and thankful for the time I have been able to spend with The Winonan as a writer and an editor. I have learned so much about writing and interviewing, which is great and completely unrelated to my major, but one hundred percent worth it. Zach, Maddie, Emma, Nikki and Morghan, you’re all so amazing and I feel so lucky that I got to work with all of you. I am going to miss our stressful Monday nights together. Erin, you will make a great copy editor and you’re a wonderful human. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to pursue writing and editing and for being able to have such an amazing job and meet and work with so many great people, on our staff and on campus.

Love,

Lauren Saner

Emma Cavanaugh – Sports Editor

I am excited to announce that I will be moving on from the Winonan in order to focus on my last semester of studies, but tearful to leave this wonderful family. Thank you for the work experience, the laughs, the support, and all of my newfound sports knowledge. I leave the paper in the capable hands of the hardworking, ethical students that I call my dear friends. Here’s to good journalism.
