The Winonan

Hannah Hippensteel
Hannah Hippensteel is a features writer for the Winonan. She has enjoyed the three years spent with the Winonan and has worked to strengthen and diversify her writing subject matter and style. Hippensteel is a senior at Winona State and is a mass communication-journalism major with a minor in sociology. In life, she hopes to work as a columnist at one of her favorite magazines: Glamour, Seventeen, or Teen Vogue.

Hippensteel also serves as the Co-Campus Correspondent for the Winona State chapter of Her Campus, an online college blog written primarily by and for women. This is her fourth year as a staff writer for the chapter with over 100 pieces in her portfolio. She loves to write about personal anecdotes, movies, music, and pieces dedicated to her friends and family who inspire her constantly to share her voice and passion for writing. Additionally, she is the secretary for the Society for Collegiate Journalists (SCJ).
