The Winonan

McKenna Scherer
McKenna Scherer works as a news reporter for the Winonan.

Scherer is currently in her second year at Winona State University and is from Eau Claire, Wisconsin. She is a mass communications: journalism major with a double minor in film studies and public relations in the works. Her dream job would either be working in fashion journalism or investigative journalism or in a social media position at a PR firm.

Along with working at the Winonan, Scherer is also a member of the Society for Collegiate Journalists, Her Campus, Film Club and in training for the student radio station KQAL. Her hobbies include binging lots of film and TV shows, hanging out with friends and thrifting.
