Winona State hosts Joy DeGruy in honor of Black History Month

Last Thursday, Feb. 18, Winona State University Inclusion and Diversity hosted Joy
DeGruy in honor of Black History Month. As a celebrated speaker about racism, DeGruy spoke at a workshop and keynote speech on race related issues in America today. In her keynote, DeGruy discussed the theory of Post Traumatic Slave Syndrome in African Americans today. Photo credit: Andrew Thoreson
