On Friday, Nov. 2 a campus wide email was sent by Denise McDowell, vice president of enrollment management and student life, about the illness that has been infecting campus.

According to the email students and employees have symptoms of a gastrointestinal illness.

Housing and Residence Life, Campus Dining Services and Health and Wellness services are working to investigate and solve the issue.

On Nov. 5 the Winonan received an email stating that the Minnesota Department of Health is leaning towards Norovirus being the reason for student and faculty being sick.

The Department of health does not see any evidence of food poisoning.
