Madelyn Swenson is going into her third year as news editor for the Winonan. She will also be cover Women’s soccer for the first time. Before that she worked as a news writer for the Winonan.
Swenson is a senior Journalism student at Winona State University. She is minoring in Conflict Studies.
Outside of the Winonan, Swenson is the Vice President of Community Relations for the Alpha Sigma Tau sorority. She is also the President of the Society for Collegiate Journalists and works as a DJ with the student radio station KQAL.
