The Winonan has served as Winona State University’s weekly student-run newspaper since 1919. New issues are available every week online and in print every other Wednesday in all academic buildings on campus.
Company History:
The Winona first printed at Winona State Teachers College on October 28, 1919. Originally titled “The Pow-Wow,” the student-run newspaper would become known as “The Winonan” in fall of 1922. The Winonan has served as the student-run newspaper of Winona State University for more than 100 years.
