On Wednesday Nov. 2, International Student Services hosted an international coffee hour in Gildemeister Hall. This event is typically held on the first Wednesday of each month. The events offer a chance for students to interact with other students from around the world in an educationally-focused environment. Depending on what the students decide, the events can range from very casual to quite organized.

Elsa Schreiner is a news writer for the Winonan. She is in her first year at Winona State University majoring in English Literature and Language and minoring in Applied Professional Writing.   

In addition to working for the Winonan, Elsa is also involved with the Catholic Newman center, book club, and a Bible study. She also frequents on-campus fitness classes with her friends.  

Outside of university, she enjoys going on walks, curating the perfect tea collection with a tea flavor for every possible circumstance, watching movies, reading and re-reading her favorite books, and visiting coffee shops.
