Cora Waterman, Features Reporter
Cora Waterman (she/her) is a first-year at Winona State University, double majoring in Mass Communications and Applied and Professional Writing. She is a features writer for the Winonan for the 2025-2026 academic year.
It is her first year on The Winonan Staff, but Waterman has been professionally writing for newspapers for the last three years. She hopes to pursue a career in journalism or political writing and is excited for the new events and stories she will get to tell while working for the Winonan. She is very passionate about listening to and sharing people’s stories and perspectives and helping to build connections within a community.
