Emma Cavanaugh
Emma Cavanaugh is the sports editor for the Winonan. She is a junior and plans on graduating fall ‘18 with a degree in English writing and a minor in theatre arts. She is from Frontenac, MN, and initially gained journalism experience from writing senior bios for the Lake City Graphic.





In addition to working for the Winonan, Cavanaugh serves as the Wellness blog manager and editor for the WSU Marketing and Communications blogs. She also holds a position as a teacher’s aide at the WSU Children’s Centers.





After college, Cavanaugh plans on attending at graduate school to pursue her education license. She also wants to publish a book, own two dogs, be a mom, and build her blogging empire.
