The events offer a chance for students to interact with other students from around the world in an educationally-focused environment. On Wednesday, Nov. 9, Winona State held a zoom conference to outline ideas for the Comprehensive Facilities Plan, which was titled “Our Brilliant Tomorrow”. One of the key construction plans focused on during the presentation was the eventual demolition of Gildemeister, Watkins and Prentiss-Lucas Halls in order to make way for the Center for Interdisciplinary Collaboration, Engagement, and Learning (CICEL) project and the campus mall.

Winona State University held their homecoming celebrations throughout the week of Oct. 16. The annual coronation and talent show began on the night of Oct. 17 and saw the crowning of Joe Grizzle (fourth from the right) and Kaileigh Weber (second from the right) as homecoming king and queen. The audience got to vote live on who was chosen as royalty based on a pageant-style event during the night.
