Ben Strand/ Winonan

The Winona State University Student Senate (WSUSS) meeting Feb. 4 covered several on-going projects around Winona State.

They went over the president’s report, where senators meet with the President Olson and his cabinet to discuss what is going on around campus with projects.

The Judicial Committee of WSUSS put in a recommendation for the approval of a sports club council constitution, so they could work as a more cohesive and recognized unit regarding their goals, needs and future issues.

Furthermore, there was a recommendation for a five percent increase to the athletics budget to cover expenses for new/updated equipment.

The Senate also decided to move their election day back because the original date conflicted with All-University Assessment Day.
