Jim Hagedorn: Republican Party, Incumbent Representative

Upon being appointed office in 2019, Hagedorn served in the House of Representatives for a little over a year. Hagedorn opposed both impeachment articles on Donald Trump on December 18, 2019. Hagedorn says he supports the farmers in his district, supports reducing healthcare costs and opposes the Affordable Care Act.

Dan Feehan: Democratic Party, Acting Assistant Secretary of Defense

After serving as a teacher, soldier, and Acting Assistant Secretary of Defense, Feehan is running for a second time for the House of Representatives seat, which he lost last election to Hagedorn. Feehan says he will fight for affordable healthcare and prescription drugs. He also says he opposes the corruption in Washington, opposes corporate special interests and supports the farmers in Minnesota.

Bill Rood: Grassroots-Legalize Cannabis Party of Minnesota, Information Technology Specialist at IBM

Rood is running for the House of Representatives seat after having a career in information technology at IBM and being a public school teacher in Detroit. Rood says he opposes “endless” wars, opposes the existence of the Central Intelligence Agency, opposes the War on Drugs, opposes covert operations and supports the statement: “Corporations are not people and money is not speech,”.
